Our Promises to Families

Promises to Keep

82nd Street Academics wants your child to be in the top five students of any class and well prepared for the next grade, the transitions to Kindergarten, Middle School and High School. Finally we want your student to qualify for entrance to a quality public university.

There are many choices for student programs, but 82nd Street Academics focuses on results and promises to families that you should expect when your student experiences one of our programs. We are results-focused instead of activity-focused.

Core Values and Five Forces

Core Values – Our Core Values include Empower Students and Delight Students. We view your child as a person of respect who has the capacity to achieve academic success and good future choices. Our teachers are not filling an empty cup or rescuing victims. Our role is to give your student the tools to succeed and delight them to love learning for their lifetime.

We have borrowed and combined our 5 Forces to offer unique value to your student. We use the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), Devereux Student Strengths Assessment (DESSA), Feire’s Empowerment Tools, Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences Tools, and our own Study Skills.
