Center for the Integration and Advancement of New Americans (CIANA)
The Center for the Integration and Advancement of New Americans (CIANA) is a nonprofit organization committed to empowering immigrants, refugees, and their families. Through their work, CIANA fosters successful integration while honoring the cultural traditions and values of each individual they serve.
About CIANA:
Founded in 2001, CIANA has been a steadfast partner in ensuring that new immigrants have the tools and resources they need to thrive. From immigration legal services to educational programs, CIANA bridges the gap between cultural understanding and social integration. Their vision is to help immigrants not only survive but succeed and become active contributors to American society.
Key Programs & Services:
Immigration Legal Services
-
CIANA provides free or low-cost legal services to help immigrants navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration law, including DACA, green cards, work permits, and naturalization.
Youth Programs
-
Through after-school and mentorship programs, CIANA helps immigrant youth adapt to the American education system and find support as they build new lives in their new communities.
Family Integration Support
-
CIANA provides essential family services, and we work hand-in-hand with them to connect immigrant families with the educational resources and support they need. Together, we address the challenges that families face as they navigate life in the U.S., ensuring that children have access to high-quality learning opportunities.
Why This Partnership Matters:
Cultural Competency Training
-
Our partnership also focuses on enhancing cultural awareness and sensitivity among educators and staff, ensuring that our services are both inclusive and responsive to the unique needs of immigrant communities.

Our collaboration with CIANA is built on shared values: community, empowerment, and education. By pooling our resources and expertise, we are able to create a stronger network of support that helps immigrant families overcome barriers to success. Our partnership ensures that children have not only the academic support they need but also the cultural and family support necessary for their overall well-being.
How You Can Get Involved:
We invite the community to engage with our partnership efforts, whether through volunteering with youth programs, supporting educational initiatives, or learning more about CIANA’s resources. Together, we can help create a welcoming environment where immigrant families thrive.
