Luka brings so much energy and joy to our afterschool community. He’s always sharing the most fascinating (and often hilarious!) fun facts with his friends, sparking curiosity and smiles all around. Whether it’s about animals, space, or something totally unexpected, Luka keeps us learning and laughing!
Beyond his fun personality, Luka is a true team player. He’s always ready to lend a helping hand, whether it’s cleaning up, supporting a classmate, or just being a good friend. His kind and welcoming nature makes everyone feel included and seen.

🌟 Miley Pillajo / (Pre-K, Room 4 – Main Site) 🌟
From April 14th to April 18th
Miley is a resilient and radiant presence in our Pre-K classroom! Her natural curiosity, kind heart, and growing confidence shine brighter each day.
She’s been making remarkable progress—adapting new skills with determination and joy. Whether she's immersed in colorful art projects, focused during tabletop activities, or fully engaged in a read-aloud story, Miley always brings her unique spark.
One of her favorite moments is playtime with friends, where her warm and thoughtful nature truly stands out.
We’re incredibly proud of everything Miley has accomplished so far, and we can’t wait to see how she continues to grow and thrive!
🌟Ngawang Dongchewa / (Afterschool – Main Site) 🌟
From April 14th to April 18th
Ngawang is a shining star in our afterschool program! As a 1st grader, she consistently shows maturity beyond her years through her kindness, helpfulness, and strong sense of responsibility.
She’s always one of the first to offer a helping hand, whether it's assisting her teachers during pick-up or supporting a classmate who needs a little extra encouragement. As the line leader, Ngawang takes pride in her role and leads with patience and care.
Ngawang has made incredible progress in both her academic and social skills, and she continues to impress us with her warm personality and positive attitude. Her friendships are built on compassion and inclusion, making her a beloved member of the group.
We’re so proud of Ngawang’s growth and are excited to watch her continue to shine!

This week’s star student is Kimberly! She consistently goes above and beyond, bringing dedication, kindness, and a strong work ethic to our classroom every single day.
Even after a full day of school, Kimberly arrives at afterschool with a bright smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow. She’s always ready to participate, take on new challenges, and offer support to those around her.

Marley is a bright ray of sunshine in our 3K classroom! Her cheerful spirit and enthusiasm light up the room each day.
She loves spending time with her friends, getting creative with playdough, whipping up pretend meals in the dramatic play kitchen, and enjoying read-aloud storytime.

This week, Gabriel’s kindness and leadership stood out even more as he took the initiative during dismissal to help his classmates pack up and stay organized—offering a hand without being asked.
