Our “One Community, Many Cultures: Taste, Learn, and Connect” event was an incredible evening that brought together families, staff, and community partners to celebrate the rich diversity that defines 82nd Street Academics. The event was a vibrant display of culture, unity, and shared experiences, as we enjoyed delicious food from around the world, engaging conversations, and the joy of learning from one another.

We were honored to have our community partners present, including CIANA (Council for Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy), NICE (New Immigrant Community Empowerment), and The Relationship Foundation. Their invaluable support and commitment to strengthening our community were truly felt throughout the evening. Together, we reaffirmed our dedication to fostering an inclusive, welcoming space for all.

This event was just the beginning of what we hope will be many more opportunities to connect, learn, and grow as a community.
