“Today was truly something special. We had the chance to represent 82nd Street Academics at the Bangladesh Parade, and I honestly don’t have the words to fully capture how incredible the experience was.



 

We were surrounded by so much culture, joy, and a strong sense of community. It was inspiring to see how deeply everyone values connection and tradition. We met so many amazing people, community leaders, organizations, and even local politicians, each one so welcoming and kind.


 


I’m just feeling really grateful tonight. Grateful for the experience, for the conversations, and for the way we were embraced like we belonged.

Big shoutout to Ms. Ferdousi and Ms. Sadia from Room 5 for coming out with us and to Sadia’s lovely family, who brought even more warmth to the day.
