After School Lead Teacher

Lead Teachers work to assist children in grades K-5th with daily homework assignments; plan for & implement post-homework activities such as arts and crafts and science; and provide supplementary activities in literacy, math, etc.

The successful candidate(s) must:

♦  be a high school graduate
♦  have related college education
♦  have previous related experience
♦  be able to supervise and direct an Assistant Teacher
♦  be able to accurately correct homework for the grades listed above
♦  be able to relate to students and families in a courteous, respectful, and friendly manner
♦  be able to multi-task without taking away from quality of work
♦  be positive; creative; organized; and self-motivated
♦  have leadership skills to direct a group of 10-15 children
♦  be available Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:30 pm (prompt and reliable attendance is extremely important)

Candidate with Spanish, Bengali, Tibetan, or Mandarin speaking skills preferred.
